You can’t lose! Either use<br />two quarters, two dimes, two nickels or two pennies to start this trick.<br />A table, bar, or any surface representing either will do. Remember,<br />you are using “two” of the same coin, but your rival only thinks you<br />are using one coin.<br />Ex: Show your rival a quarter and put it under a non see-through<br />object such as an ashtray, dish, plate, napkin…you still have the other<br />quarter in your right hand. Your rival does not know this. Bet your<br />rival (whatever he’d like to bet you) that you can get the quarter out<br />from underneath the ashtray without touching the ashtray with your<br />fingers or move the ashtray with any other object and that you also<br />can’t touch the surface of the table. (It’s actually impossible to do this<br />without knowing some form of levitation) Your rival will probably bet<br />the house that you can’t do it…That’s where you want him…Right<br />after he bets, take your right hand (the one holding the other quarter)<br />make a fist, knock underneath the table 3 times, bring your fist up<br />above the table and throw the quarter that was in your hand on the<br />table and say, “There is your quarter.” Your rival will immediately<br />doubt you and he will lift up the ashtray to show you that the original<br />quarter is still there and that he won the bet…That is “exactly” what<br />you want him to do! When he lifts up the ashtray, put your index<br />finger on top of the quarter and drag it to the edge of the table and<br />flip it into your other hand. You have just gotten that quarter without<br />touching the ashtray or touching the surface of the bar. He moved the<br />ashtray for you. It’s totally legitimate regardless of what your rival<br />thought. You can drink free all night with that one.
